Travelling to Bajardo

Posted on January 3rd, by bio in Ecotourism. No Comments

Coordinates: 43,9°, 7,7°
Bajardo is located in the wonderful Italian region of Liguria – in the province of Imperia. Nestled, but not out of the way, since a half-an-hour drive takes you to the coastal town of San Remo and the sea. But even Monaco, Nice or Genoa are easily reached (Bajardo – Nice about 1 hour, Bajardo – Genoa 2hrs. by car), and from there you have plane connections for the whole world.

By Road

Route 1
From highway A10 in the direction of Genoa-Ventimiglia, take the exit in the direction of ‘Bordighera’, then follow the local signs for Ventimiglia – Dolceaqua – Apricale – Bajardo. This route is recommended during winter weather or at night.

You will encounter spectacular views over the valleys and the cost. This route is not recommended in winter or at night.
