Bajardo is located in the
wonderful Italian region of Liguria - in the province of
Imperia.
The village is nestled on the Ligurian Maritime Alps at a
height of 900 m above sea level.
Nestled, but not out of the way, since a half-an-hour drive
takes you to the coastal town of San Remo and the sea. But
even Monaco, Nice or Genoa are easily reached (Bajardo -
Nice about 1 hour, Bajardo - Genoa 2hrs. by car), and from
there you have plane connections for the whole world.

Those
who do not wish to fly may reach San Remo by train. A bus
leads directly from the station to Bajardo. Available train
connections from Munich: Munich-Bologna-Milan-San Remo
(Time: 14,25 hrs.), Munich- Verona- Genoa-San Remo (14,5 hrs.)
or Munich-Verona-Turin-San Remo (18 hrs.).
An old panoramic route, that leads from San Romolo
for 5.5 km to San Remo and to the motorway will be reopened.
